Description
Against the unforgettable backdrop of New York near the turn of the twentieth century, Susan Vreeland brings a woman (Clara Driscoll) once lost in the shadows into vivid color. It's 1893, and at the Chicago World's Fair, Louis Comfort Tiffany makes his debut with an exhibit of stained-glass windows. In Tiffany's New York studio, Clara designs nearly all of the leaded-glass lamps (for which Tiffany is long remembered) and sttuggles for artistic recognition. She also yearns for love and companionship but married women cannot work for Tiffany and Company.
